What should I bring?
You don’t need to go out and buy new containers especially. It’s great if you can re-use what you already have at home. Containers that are lightweight and have a large opening are best. Consider using:
– Your tupperware
– Large ice cream and yoghurt tubs
– Cereal bags
– Pasta packets
– Re-use the paper bags from last time
What about liquids?
It’s best to use like for like e.g. washing up liquid is best going in a washing up liquid bottle. So, as you start to come to the end of a bottle at home, save it and bring it along to refill! Also – don’t forget to take a liquids label and attach it to your bottle – you’ll see them at the liquids station.
What should I do if I forget?
We always have paper bags available as well as a spare stock of jars, bottles and containers. We are always looking for more containers so please donate them – we’ll be very grateful!
